Return to USSVI KEEPERS-FILE
USSVI CELEBRATES 38 YEARS

On the 3rd and 4th of May 2002 the United States Submarine Veterans Inc. celebrated its 38th year. The celebration was kicked off Friday with a "Return to Sub School Day".  All weekend arrangemnts were made by the Groton Base of USSVI.  (A very large BZ at this point to John Carciopplo, John Wynn et al).  There was also plenty of time to meet and socialize with shipmates at 40 School Street  (TRANSLATION: hanging out - and having chili, beer, more good chow, sea stories, and Tommy Cox's music ... and beer) .  Concluding the weekend was a banquet on Saturday evening.  An unplanned bonus for the weekend was seeing the USS NAUTILUS come up the Thames from EB.  (Article copy from the online news website, THE DAY, is linked below)

Note: Number 39 is scheduled for May 9th and 10th, 2003
