Richard E. "Dick" Burdette went on Eternal Patrol on 27 Apr 2005 in Carson City, Nevada. Dick was a Junior Officer and qualified on USS Guardfish (SSN-612) immediately after commissioning in 1966. He was promoted to Lieutenant during his service on Guardfish. He worked in the field of energy and transportation for many years. He was a legislative assistant in the U.S. Senate and was deputy assistant secretary in the U.S. Department of Transportation. Most recently, he was energy advisor to Governor Guinn of Nevada.

(Ray) Cremin left on eternal patrol from the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday, January 23, 2005 Ray was a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy’s Submarine Service qualifying in submarines on USS Quillback in 1958. He also served on SS-424; USS Sea Poacher (SS 406); USS Croaker (SS 246); USS Daniel Webster (SSBN 626); and USS Tullibee (SSN 597). Ray is survived by his wife, Ellen, stepdaughter, Donna E. Witteman; stepsons, Bryon and Kevin Schmidt: sisters; Agnes Wells and Jean Hansen, both of Albany, Georgia.

Jack served onboard 4 diesel powered submarines, USS Sabalo (SS 302), USS Bang (SS 385), USS Sablefish (SS 303), USS Tiru (SS 416) and became the Commander of USS Carbonero (SS 337). Jack was a member and Past Commander of USSVI Hudson Valley (NY) Base and was a Holland Club member.
