ALBUQUERQUE
BULLHEAD PARK

USS BULLHEAD SS-332 memorial site consists of three torpedoes mounted on concrete pylons, plus some bronze plaques.  Bullhead Park is 20 acres in size and has 7 soccer fields plus 2 softball fields that are lighted.  It is located on San Pedro SE which dead ends at Bullhead Park.  It is within walking distance of the VA-Air Force Hospital.

Sunk by aircraft in the Lombock Straits on 6 August 1945

ALBUQUERQUE

USSVI Bullhead Base, together with the Sandia Chapter of the US SubVets of WWII, is in the process of of erecting a Memorial in Veterans Memorial Park in Albuquerque New Mexico and are seeking donations to complete the project.

The attached is an overview of the Park, including pictures to acquaint you with the site as well as the details of the project such as memorial text, cost, current amount already raised, contacts, etc.
