USSVI Reports & Notices

Subject:  Flow path for submitting Final Patrol Notices

Just a reminder about submitting FINAL PATROL notices (obituaries).

As Nat'l webmaster I ONLY post the obits that I receive from the Nat'l Chaplain.

The USSVI Chaplain's job, as pertains to the website notices, is to gather the info; do the write-ups; and submit them to me.

I then do the placement in the Nat'l website FINAL PATROL section.

Please DO NOT (repeat do not) send Final Patrol notices or revisions and corrections directly to me. Also do not CC notices to me.

The latest revision to the Chaplain's Manual and the PPM states that the Final Patrol Notices are to go to the National Office, who in turn notifies the National Chaplain.

The proper Flow path from the originator to get the Final Patrol notice posted in the website is as follows:

ORIGINATOR >>> NAT'L OFFICE >>> CHAPLAIN >>> WEBMASTER

Send them ONLY to the Nat'l Office - they will take it from there.

National Office E-Mail is     ussvi@telebyte.net

PROCEDURE SOURCE:
Access the PPM and/or the Chaplain's Manual (online copies) here http://www.ussvi.org/cb.htm Use search term "Chaplain" and go to the appropriate section that describes Final Patrol submission procedures. (Or just look in your paper copy if you have one)
