All,

I am attempting to put the BROADCASTS on a routine weekly basis. Most likely they will be done on a Sunday night e-mail delivery... or close to that.

I am replacing the SpecialSends with what I call the USSVI ZAP-NOTE.

A "Zap" is something that I might receive for an all-hands distribution that "positively, absolutely" must have NEXT DAY DELIVERY.

You will see USSVI ZAP-NOTE (date) in the Subject line of your e-mail.

I do not foresee many of those "urgent notices" (aka ZAPs) in any event -- because most of the notices you guys send for distribution are not particuarly time-sensitive nor are they of such an immediate nature that a week delay to catch the next BROADCAST will not present a problem.

But........ if something is time-sensitive-urgent, all ya gotta do is put "ZAP THIS" in the very top of your message.

REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT:
If something is time-sensitive-urgent, all ya gotta do is put "ZAP THIS" in the very top of your message to me.

OKAY? Got it?

BROADCAST = weekly    .....    ZAP-NOTE = as soon as possible.

I expect the senders to use good common-sense judgement before sending me a ZAP email. Ask yourself the question, "is this stuff really all that hot that it won't wait intil the weekend"?
