Shipmates, 

The Groton Base of U. S. SUBMARINE VETERANS INC. is the only Base within this organization that has a clubhouse of it’s own for it’s members.

Displayed in the club are numerous plaques , (about 450) from Submarines, Submarine Squadrons, Submarine Tenders, and foreign submarines that have been donated over the years. These plaques serve as a fine tribute to all of those men that have served on those boats and commands.

However, our collection is far from complete.

There are many boats that are not represented in our display and we would like to obtain the plaques for the boats and commands not represented.

The following is a listing of boats that are not represented and that we do not have plaques for in the club. If you have a plaque for a boat that is on this list that we don’t have and would like to donate it, it would be greatly appreciated. 

We don’t care if the plaque is made of plaster, plastic, engraved or brass. The make of the plaque is not important. What is important to us is getting a plaque to represent each command in the submarine force.
