USSVI RENO CONVENTION - RAFFLING STUFF =================================================================== Submitted by: Don Brown donbrownss322@sbcglobal.net =================================================================== Archived BROADCASTS http://www.ussvi.org/webmastr/brdcasts.htm =================================================================== Gents, I have had some requests from members who want to raffle off various items to raise funds for various projects. This is very commendable and I will endeavor to support these requests. The local committee has decided that any raffles conducted to raise funds for whatever projects is the responsibility of the requesting organizations. They must conduct the raffle in such a manner that it is beyond reproach and resolve issues (if any) that may arise as a result of the raffle. Additionally they must adhere to the following requirements: 1. Tickets will be sold from a table in the Vendor Room. 2. Seller will use 2 part tickets and insure that the buyer completes information on the stub. 3. Seller will furnish own device for storing and mixing ticket stubs. 4. Seller will hold the drawing in the Convention Hospitality Room or other announced location. Drawing date, time and location must be conspicuously posted at their sales table in the Vendor Room. 5. Seller will notify local convention committee of winner's name and hometown for publication in the final convention report) and post the drawing results in the Convention Hospitality Room and at their sales table in the Vendor Room.
