Lee Ermey goes "underway" with the Navy's Pacific Fleet onboard the nuclear attack submarine USS SALT LAKE CITY. He demonstrates diving, steering, and sonar--submarine basics; gets his hands on the torpedoes and Tomahawk missiles that put the "attack" in a nuclear submarine; and gets as close as he can to the heart of a nuclear sub --- its reactor. At program's end, Lee eats chow with the crew, after learning that the USS SALT LAKE CITY just won the Navy's award for Best Chow on any submarine.
