Shipmates,

We of the Central Region are pleased and feel privileged to announce
that the Lockwood Internet Base (LIB), in searching for a new virtual
home, elected to become an integral part of the Central Region and
George St. Martin's District Seven

The LIB move was approved by 97% of its membership and unanimously
approved by the USSVI Executive Board, assembled at the Mid-term
Executive Board Meeting in Kansas City, April 21, 2005.

Stated LIB Commander Ron Martini, "After several months of evaluating
our "new home" options we selected the Central Region as the one that
currently has the vision, goals, objectives and performance track
record, coupled with the aggressive/progressive proactive leadership
and unique programs supported by a vision that most closely equates to
similar goals, objectives and vision held dear to the members of the
Lockwood Internet Base!

Equally, if not more important is that both LIB and the Central Region
want to play a significant role in USSVI's future together in the
decades to follow, by preparing to responsibly assume that role ...
today!"

"We look forward to a mutually beneficial and long lasting
relationship, as a welcomed player in the forward thinking Central
Region, as we in turn offer the Central Region and its membership and
Bases a willing pilot partnership in a wide variety of advanced LIB
programs that it plans to develop and announce USSVI-wide in the very
near future. The LIB and Central Region "partnership" is the
synergistic relationship LIB originally sought and has long awaited to
achieve."

"We believe this move will not only benefit LIB, but also the Bases
and members of the Central Region, as well as being a global near and
long term benefit to all the Bases and members of USSVI," concluded
Martini.

We, of the Central Region enthusiastically welcome Ron and all the
members of the Lockwood Internet Base, as a part of the growing family
of Central Region Bases. We sincerely thank them for choosing the
Central Region and D7, as their new home. We are indeed ... very
honored.

Art Randall
Director Central Region.
