Please forward this to your Base Commanders.
Have you ever had the time when you knew the Boat name, but couldn't
remember its Hull number? Or remembered the Hull Number but not the
name. And got confused twix the SS-318 and the AGSS-318? Or wished
you had some cross reference twixt those you knew and those that you
didn't, but knew there was a conection?
Shipmate Bob Sharp, in a many hour, day and month of a Labor of Love
put a list together for any Shipmate wanting it. It comes in to
sequences. The first identifies all the Hull Numbers in hull number
sequence and the associated name. The Second is in Name sequence,
indentifying all the asociated Hull numbers. It also shows the gaps,
were no Hull number exists due to not being built, or completed or
Commissioned.

Shipmates,
We have sponsors for all the active boats.
I need the current sponsors to pledge renewing, and send checks.
There is always room for additional sponsors for any Boat, we can
never send too many copies of our magazine to them.(you know how
magazines get pigeonholed in lockers).
I also request you consider sponsoring the Submarine Commands, or a
NJROTC unit near you. Reaching our prospective new Submariners is one
of the objectives of the BSP. Many of the members of these units go on
to NROTC, and some enlist in the regular Navy, and we want them to be
interested in Submarines!
If you are interested in sponsoring a High School NJROTC, check the
site below to find what schools have the program, and sponsor them the
same as Boats.
