The meeting improvement handbook is intended to provide ideas, especially to the newer base officers in developing their base meetings. This project was started by Ron Martini of Lockwood Internet Base and refined somewhat by some other Past and Current Base Commanders and the NJVC.

Constructive suggestions for improvement will be gratefully received.

The next project is a similar guide relating to member retention. As above, proven constructive suggestions for inclusion will be gratefully received.

Fraternally:

A word about YOUR national Submarine Veterans Charitable Foundation (USSVCF):

Our national goal is to raise $ 10.00 per member per year. This amounts to less than 20 cents per week per member to support the various programs, which include our Scholarship Program, Memorials, Brotherhood, Museum Sub support, and Sub Vet library.

Because USSVCF is a IRS 501(c)(3) foundation, donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law and bequests via your will are also appreciated. (Although we hope it will be a very long time before it comes to pass.) Please support our Foundation if you can with a check made to USSVCF and send it to:

PO Box 3870

98383-3870.

NOTE: Please identify your BASE on your check as well.
